The Ridgewater subdivision in Charlotte, North Carolina, was developed by Mattamy Homes, with construction beginning between 2017 and 2018. Consisting of 319 homes on 13 streets, the development phase continued until around 2021 to 2023.

A significant milestone in our community’s history occurred on January 9, 2023, when the transition from developer control to homeowner governance began.
This transition marked the complete selling out of the community and the formation of the first Board of Directors.
The inaugural Board included Josh Sullivan, Dominique Wallace, Noah Halbert, Rachel Powell, and Gerald Wesley, who stepped forward to guide Ridgewater’s future.
